Constellation of Souls

I give thanks to Life, invisible and sovereign source,
for she has placed in my hands love, my children, my friends,
and all these treasures no wealth could ever equal.

They are fragments of stars fallen from the sky,
scattered on my path to illuminate my steps
and to reveal to my heart’s silence the meaning of its journey.

Today, I celebrate Life for my departed ones.
In their absence, I still find their laughter,
in their silence, I recognize their breath.
And it is for them that I dance, that I laugh, that I live,
surrounded by honesty, sincerity and love.

Life has taught me the secret of rare souls:
they are more precious than gold, more fragile than crystal.
They appear only once, perhaps twice,
and yet they are enough to illuminate eternity.

These souls know how to heal our wounds,
rekindle our smiles, console our nights,
and give life back its taste of wonder.

They are the rainbow after the storm,
the discreet lamp that lights the traveler’s step,
they are the miracle that stays silent yet acts,
they are my hidden treasure.

To you, my living stars, I dedicate these words.
For the universe has united us as stars of the same constellation,
and we move forward together, without mask, without falsehood,
in the simple, naked truth of love.

And when the night steals my bearings,
it is you who light my path.
You are my present, you are my destiny,
you are eternity, gifted to my soul.
